Join Kevin Scully at the Mullion Cove Hotel where he will be leading a four night ‘Drawing and Painting Break’ for artists of all levels of ability, from the beginner to the more experienced. The hotel in South Cornwall, with its nearby beaches and coves and beautiful cliff top position, is the perfect base from which to visit the many nearby painting locations including Porthleven, Cadgwith and Kynance Cove. Mullion is the largest village on the Lizard peninsular and has a number of shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants, craft shops and art galleries. Mullion Cove has a pretty working harbor and lies within the Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Weather permitting, we will be working ‘en plein air’ at a different location each day. Should the weather be not so kind, there is a room available at the hotel where we will be able to work.

Not included is transport to painting venues on the Lizard peninsular. Guests are required to arrange their own transport in their own vehicles please, with car share on location a popular option.

Tuition will be given in a small group of approximately 10-12 people. You will be free to choose which medium you would like to work in, so please bring all of your favourite materials or even some that you would like to use for the first time. The course will start with a welcome drinks reception on Friday evening and will finish on Tuesday afternoon. Wherever possible and weather permitting, students will be encouraged to draw and paint at some of the many exciting nearby locations including Mullion Cove, Cadgwith and Kynance Cove.
